TRNSMT 2022 is almost here and fans are buzzing to get into the festival site to see what's on offer.
Paolo Nutini, Lewis Capaldi and The Strokes are set to headline this year's event, which again returns to Glasgow Green in the city's east end. Ahead of the gates opening at 12 noon on Friday, we got a first look at the arena, which features some familiar sights — including the ferris well and Boogie Bar — while the main stage is ready to go as well.

The TRNSMT 2022 Official App has also launched, offering festival fans the most up-to-date info and stage times as well as an interactive site map.
The VIP area this year is twice as big, with more space to chill out, and grab a bite to eat. Now centred around Glasgow Green’s famous fountain, the space will host bars, food vans, DJs and VIP toilets.
