Many of us will be planning getaways over the summer , and one UK destination is offering up accommodation with a difference - designed with kebab lovers in mind.
In a stay that certainly promises something different to your standard hotel, The Kebab House is set to be designed from floor to ceiling with kebab-themed touches. The pop-up property designed by gourmet kebab restaurant I Am Doner gives people the chance to take their love of kebabs to the next level.
Set to open later this year, the house will contain a kebab-themed bedroom complete with doner-inspired wallpaper and curtains, chilli and garlic sauce lamps, and a ‘naan bed’. Described as “kebab heaven”, the property will also have a living room with kebab cushions on the sofa and a cabinet with more than 50 condiments to complete any kebabs you polish off during your stay.

The kebab theme will even continue in the bathroom, which will come with a lettuce shower cap and a naan bread bathmat. The unique venue is initially set to open in Leeds, but will later travel to other UK cities - with Newcastle on the list of places it could visit next.
I Am Doner have launched a competition to give kebab lovers the chance to win a stay in the house when it opens, and takers can vote for which city they would like to see the accommodation pop up in after its stint in Leeds. You can enter and cast your vote on the I Am Doner website , with entries open until midnight on Friday 22 July.
