First Direct offering customers free £175 cash if they switch bank account using CASS

A high street bank in the UK is set to offer customers free cash to the sum of £175 if they switch their current account using the Current Account Switch Service (CASS).

The cash will be transferred to your account within 28 days, however only if you meet a certain criteria.

This means in order to be eligible for the free cash, customers must pay in at least £1,000 within the first three months of opening the account.
