THE date for the first Celtic vs Rangers clash of the season has been announced.
The first instalment of the derby will be played on Saturday September 3 at 3pm.
Kick-off is subject to change due to TV rights, with Sky certainly broadcasting the game.
Celtic begin the campaign at home versus Aberdeen, while Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side face a trip to Livingston.
The full list of fixtures for all 42 teams were announced at 9am this morning by the SPFL.
The other derbies will be played during the traditional festive period on January 2 and then April 8.
The fourth and final league encounter between the teams will be announced post-split in April.
