First asylum seekers due at Sussex barracks in weeks as council joins legal action against Home Office

Asylum seekers are expected to be moved into a Sussex town's army barracks within weeks as the local council joined a legal fight against the Home Office plans.

Crowborough military base is understood to be being prepared for 540 male migrants to arrive in the New Year as part of the Government's bid to reduce the use of asylum hotels.
