A huge emergency services response was reported following a flat fire.
Firefighters from Merseyside Fire and Rescue attended an incident on Pemberton Road in Woodchurch on Thursday, May 4. Crews were called at 8.46pm and five fire engines were on the scene at 8.53pm.
Eyewitnesses in the area said the fire broke out at Wesley Grange sheltered accommodation. One person said they saw numerous ambulance and police cars in attendance.

When firefighters arrived at the scene they found a flat on the ground floor on fire of the four-storey building. The blaze was put out and a full search and evacuation of the building was completed.
A spokesperson for the fire service said crews monitored temperatures at scene before handing over to Merseyside Police. Firefighters left the scene at 12.51am on the morning of Friday, May 5.
Merseyside Police also attended the scene to assist with road closures and North West Ambulance Service also attended. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said "multiple resources attended" and they did not take anyone to hospital.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Fire and Rescue said: "Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident on Pemberton Road, Woodchurch, Wirral, on the evening of Thursday, May 4.
"Crews were alerted at 8.46pm and five fire engines were on scene at 8.53pm. On arrival crews were met with a flat fire on the ground floor of a four-storey building.
"The fire was extinguished shortly after and a full search and evacuation of the building was completed. Merseyside Police attended to assist with road closures and North West Ambulance Service also attended.
"MFRS personnel monitored temperatures at scene before handing over to Merseyside Police. Crews left the scene at 00.51 on the morning of Friday, May 5. "
