Firefighters have been battling a fire which has broken out at a house in Cardiff. The blaze started on Friday afternoon a property in Donald Street, in the Roath area of the city.
Crews were called to the scene shortly after 2pm on Friday. Pictures from the scene show smoke billowing the property and across the terraced street, while another picture shows a badly fire-damaged mattress which has been brought out of the property.
The fire service said that all persons were accounted for and it’s understood that nobody sustained injuries as a result of the blaze. Two fire crews from Cardiff Central station have been at the scene. Although the fire has been extinguished, one crew remains at the scene.
