The fire service were deployed to tackle a fire at a Nottingham bungalow. Fire crews were called to Middleton Boulevard, Wollaton at 10.47am on Tuesday, January 24, where a blaze had taken hold in a garage and spread to a bungalow.
Three fire engines were called to the scene, with firefighters using two hose reel jets and breathing apparatus. The fire was out one hour later and the property was handed back to its owner by early afternoon.
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, said: "At 10.47am today we responded to a fire in Middleton Boulevard in Wollaton. A fire in a garage had spread to a bungalow.

"We used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire and firefighters used breathing apparatus. The fire was out one hour later and handed back over to the owner early this afternoon.
"Three fire engines attended – the crews were from Stockhill, London Road and Highfields." Two lanes were shut on Middleton Boulevard A6514 southbound close to Crown Island at around 11.20am on Tuesday, January 24.
