Flames have ripped through an abandoned Scots hotel in Fife tonight as local residents are evacuated from the area.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue are currently at the scene at the derelict Lundin Links Hotel in Leven trying to battle the blaze tearing through the roof.
Orange flames are lighting up the night sky in the area as smoke billows from the Tudor-style building that is boarded up.
A large emergency response is at the hotel with seven crews, specialist equipment and high appliances called out.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 8.36pm to reports of a fire at a derelict building on Leven Road at Lundin Links.
"Operation control mobilised seven appliances, two height vehicles and two specialist resources to the scene.
"There are no reports of causalities and crews currently remain at the scene."
It's the second fire at a hotel building today as guests and staff had to be evacuated The Popinjay Hotel in Carluke, South Lanarkshire, at 7.18am, due to a huge blaze.
