A large fire has ripped through an industrial unit in Dundee as emergency services continue to tackle the blaze.
Members of the public are being told to stay away from the scene in Dryburgh Industrial Estate as thick plumes of black smoke filled the air on Sunday morning.
Police Scotland and crews from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service remain in attendance after being called shortly before 7am.
Residents living nearby are being told to keep their windows closed due.
Shocking pictures from the area show huge clouds of acrid black smoke billowing from the well-alight building.
No one is believed to have been injured however the cause of the blaze remains unknown at this time.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “We are receiving a lot of calls about a fire at a commercial building in Dryburgh Industrial Estate Dundee which is causing lots of smoke.
“We are at the scene and will extinguish the fire. There are no casualties. Nearby residents are advised to close their windows.”
A Police Scotland spokeswoman added: “Officers were called to a report of a fire at Dryburgh Industrial Estate around 6.50am on Sunday 27 February.
“Emergency services are still at the scene and we ask people to avoid the area at this time.”
