Fire crews have raced to a blaze at a flat in Edinburgh this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Trafalgar Street in the north of the capital after the alarm was raised at around 1.30pm on Sunday. Ambulance crews attended and a male and female were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
A picture shared with Edinburgh Live showed smoke billowing from a window of the affected property. Three fire engines rushed to the scene from nearby stations as the building was evacuated.
