Firefighters were called to a fire in a derelict building opposite Birnbeck Pier in Weston-super-Mare on Tuesday, April 5.
Avon Fire and Rescue Service said that crews from Weston attended the scene on Upper Kewstoke Road, finding a fire in a derelict single storey building. They added that the cause of the fire is thought to be "deliberate".
It comes after a series of arson attacks in and around Bristol this week, including those on some 23 vehicles in South Gloucestershire and along the southern boundary of Yew Tree Farm on Bedminster Down.

Avon and Somerset Police has confirmed that the fire in Weston on Tuesday has been reported to officers and says they are "in contact with the local authority to ensure the structure is safe."
"We would ask anyone with information about the criminal damage to call 101 and give reference number 5222082384."
A full statement from Avon Fire and Rescue read: "Crews from Weston were called to reports of a fire in a derelict building opposite Birnbeck Pier, Weston-super-Mare.
"On arrival, crews found a fire in a derelight single storey building. Firefighters used two high pressure hose reels, two 45mm jets and small gear to extinguish the blaze/
"The cause of the fire is thought to be deliberate."
