Fire crews are battling a large blaze at a recycling centre in a Scots industrial estate.
Emergency services are currently in attendance at the Linwood Industrial Estate, Burnbrae Road, Linwood, after being alerted to the fire around 11.20am this morning.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue service currently have six fire appliances and a heigh appliance in attendance as firefighters work to extinguish the inferno.
Video footage of the scene shows dark clouds of black smoke billowing into the air.
It is not yet known how the rubbish fire started.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 11.19am on Thursday 16 June to reports of a fire affecting rubbish at a Recycling Centre in Linwood Industrial Estate, Burnbrae Road, Linwood.
“Operations control immediately mobilised six fire appliances and a height appliance to the location and firefighters are extinguishing the fire.
“Crews will leave the scene once the area is made safe.”
