FIREFIGHTERS worked into the early hours of the morning to extinguish a blaze at a derelict building.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent four engines to the scene on Kilwinning Road in Irvine when the alarm was raised at 8.23pm on Monday.
They put out the fire and left the scene in the North Ayrshire town at around 2.15am on Tuesday.
There were no reports of any casualties.
