Spirit Aerosystems has taken home the overall prize at the 2023 Made in Scotland Awards.
The Prestwick-based aerostructure manufacturer was praised by the judges for its potentially positive impact on the supply chain, creating a significant amount of local jobs following recent investment.
Elsewhere, Prestonpans-based McMillan Coppersmiths and Fabricators also won two awards, scooping Manufacturer of the Year and the new category of Manufacturing Apprentice of the Year.
