A financial adviser has revealed how he was involved in a conspiracy to launder €225million into the international banking system for the Kinahan cartel.
The man, known as Opel, said the cartel led by Daniel Kinahan, 45, his father Christy Snr, 66, and Christy Jnr, 42, explored investing huge sums of money.
In an interview with the Sunday Times, the man claimed that he was asked to launder around €60million but that shot up to €200million.
