Final Fantasy 7 Revelation: Everything you need to know about the conclusion to the FF7 Remake series

Co FF Cloud Strife Naoki Hamaguchi Square Enix Barret Vincent Valentine Cait Sith Red XIII Sephiroth
Cloud kneels before some yellow flowers while companions Barret, Tifa, Red XIII, Cait Sith, Yuffie, Vincent Valentine, and Cid watch in the background in Final Fantasy 7 Revelation.

The final instalment in the remake trilogy, Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is launching on April 8, 2027.

After its big reveal during the Summer Game Fest Live 2026 showcase back in June, we got to see more of Final Fantasy 7 Revelation during the Gamescom 2026 schedule. Even better, the latest Sony State of Play gave us a juicy release date trailer, confirming that next April is the month we'll be getting to play Cloud's final chapter on PS5.

With director Naoki Hamaguchi taking to the stage to give us a look at the upcoming RPG in action (you can watch the new trailer below), Square Enix also previously dropped more details about the final part in the series, which will pick up right where we left off in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
