Film producer and Hollywood scion Eric Eisner recently experienced a skateboarding accident in California, resulting in a broken elbow and a fractured hip. The incident occurred while Eisner was skateboarding in Inglewood with friends, attempting a new move demonstrated by one of his companions. Unfortunately, Eisner was unable to execute the maneuver successfully, leading to his injuries. Despite the mishap, Eisner managed to drive himself to the hospital, where medical staff were surprised by his ability to make it there.
Following the accident, Eisner required a wheelchair to alleviate pressure on his hip and underwent surgery for his elbow, which involved the insertion of nine screws. However, there is positive news as Eisner is now on the path to recovery and has begun walking again. Due to his injuries, Eisner and his father, former Walt Disney CEO Michael Eisner, will be unable to attend the opening match of their UK soccer team, Portsmouth Football Club.
Eric Eisner is known for his work as a producer, with credits including the Grateful Dead documentary series, “Long Strange Trip.” In a series of unfortunate events, the day before Eisner's accident, one of his daughters broke her collarbone after falling off a horse in New York. Both father and daughter underwent surgeries on separate coasts, with Eisner's wife, Stacey Bendet, jokingly referring to herself as an 'orthopedic doctor in residence' due to the circumstances.
Despite the challenges faced by the family, Bendet expressed gratitude for their well-being and emphasized that both Eisner and his daughter are expected to recover fully. Currently, they are recuperating together in Malibu, focusing on their healing journey.
