A film festival is returning to Liverpool's bustling city centre this week.
Liviff is back with a bang this year, after a two year online-only hiatus during the coronavirus pandemic. The popular event aims to celebrate cinema, with an in-person event taking place at the Odeon in Liverpool ONE.
This year's festival will showcase 11 feature length films and 27 shorts from around the world. Kicking off today, Thursday, November 3, the festival will run for four days, coming to an end on Sunday, November 6.

It aims to be a riveting experience for film fans, with the opportunity to meet with the films' directors, as well as cast members. Many of the independent films will highlight new talent, putting the cast and crew firmly in the spotlight with this local celebration.
Liverpool ONE's Odeon cinema will provide the backdrop for the event. The cinema is one of the chain’s state-of-the-art settings and offers screenings for films in 2D or 3D format.
Tickets are available at a discounted price of £4.50, and can only be purchased online here. For full details of every film being screened, click here.
The Odeon cinema, Liverpool ONE, is based at 14 Paradise Street, Liverpool, L1 8JF.
