Figures reveal Nottingham's richest and poorest neighbourhoods

The richest and poorest neighbourhoods throughout Nottingham have been revealed in figures released by the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

ONS has figures for average annual household income for all locations following under the Nottingham City Council boundary.

The Wollaton area has been confirmed as the most well-off.

The statistics, published in 2020, reveal a disparity in wealth and income for those living in different parts of the city with a difference of over £30,000 annual income between the richest and poorest areas.

People living in Wollaton Park - the richest area in Nottingham - earn an average of £56,400 per year.

Radford, meanwhile, is the location with the lowest average income in Nottingham, with residents earning around £24,200 on average.

The average doesn't take into account the size of households, but gives us an idea of the income divide faced by households in Nottingham.

Eight of the 35 areas we identified in Nottingham earn an average annual household income of more than £40,000.
