Fighting the sting: East Delhi Municipal Corporation plots key data on maps to focus on danger zones

East Delhi Municipal Corporation EDMC Shahdara New Delhi

NEW DELHI: East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) has released ward-wise details of aedes and anopheles mosquito breeding in its two zones, Shahdara South and North, for 2020 and 2021. It has also shared details of the number of dengue, chikungunya and malaria cases reported in each of the 64 wards during these two years.

The idea was to highlight places prone to mosquito breeding and motivate residents to take measures to control it in and around their houses.
