Police seized fifty barrels of suspected stolen diesel found at an empty house in a Nottinghamshire town. Officers discovered the containers lined up in an alleyway at the side of the house in Harworth.
The discovery came after police "decided to take a closer look" at the property in Thornhill Road on Thursday (February 2). Neighbourhood officers from the Bassetlaw team arrived at the house at just after 7pm.
The barrels of fuel are all believed to be stolen red and white diesel, Nottinghamshire Police said. An investigation is now underway.
