How to watch Chelsea on TV this week: UK channel, live stream and kick-off times in Club World Cup

Chelsea will finally get their FIFA Club World Cup campaign underway on Wednesday.

The Blues booked their place in the tournament after winning the Champions League last season, giving them just the second opportunity in the club's history to claim the trophy after Rafael Benitez's previous failure in 2012/13.

Originally scheduled to be hosted in Japan, FIFA were forced to move the tournament due to COVID-19 outbreaks and eventually it was decided the United Arab Emirates should host.

But when does the competition take place and who will Chelsea play? Here, football.london brings you all you need to know about the competition fixture list and where you can watch them.

When are Chelsea's games being played?

As Chelsea are one of two seeded teams they will automatically advance to the semi-final of the competition, where they will face Al-Hilal on Wednesday, February 9, with kick-off scheduled for 4:30pm UK time.

If Thomas Tuchel's men make the final they will play on Saturday, February 12, scheduled to kick-off again at 4:30pm UK time.

What TV channel is it on?

The Blues' Club World Cup semi-final will be shown on E4 in the UK whilst the final will be broadcast on Channel 4. The build-up is due to start at 4pm for both fixtures, with the highlights of the final also shown later that day.

How can I follow it?

As usual, football.london has you covered in the form of a matchday live blog for all the Chelsea action.
