EA Sports has released the FIFA 23 TOTW 13 squad into Ultimate Team with some surprising inclusions and glaring omissions.
The biggest absence in the squad is Manchester City striker Erling Haaland after his hat-trick against Wolves on the weekend – though with the striker looking set to enter the FIFA 23 TOTY promo as the 12th man, this explains why the striker is not in the TOTW 13 squad. But, teammate Riyad Mahrez is included in TOTW 13, with the Algerian scoring twice and grabbing an assist in a 4-2 win over Tottenham last week.
Eyebrows have been raised over the inclusion of Matthijs de Ligt after Bayern Munich were held to a 1-1 draw, but owners of his Ones to Watch (OTW) player item won't be complaining, with the defender's inclusion handing another upgrade to his OTW item. Players from Arsenal, Sevilla, Roma, Napoli, West Ham United and more also feature in the rest of the squad.
The FIFA 23 TOTW 13 squad is live in Ultimate Team packs now and will be available until Wednesday, February 1 at 5.59pm GMT/ 12.59pm ET/ 9.59am PT.
