The Rulebreakers promo is the next event to be released into FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, and the full squad has already been 'leaked' ahead of its official reveal.
With the World Cup coming up, EA Sports are seemingly shortening all current FIFA 23 promos to get through as many as possible, with the Ones to Watch (OTW) and RTTK promos both lasting just one week. RTTK is currently available in FUT, but Rulebreakers will be the next promo, releasing this Friday and is set to last two weeks.
The Rulebreaker promo was first introduced in FIFA 21, replacing the Halloween-themed promo, Ultimate Scream. In the past two FIFA titles, the promo has featured special player cards that feature game-changing stat updates (upgrades and downgrades), adjusting players into new types of players.
For example, in FIFA 22, Luis Suarez saw his pace jump from 72 to 90 in the Rulebreakers promo, but his shooting dropped from 90 to 87. The idea of the Rulebreakers promo is to upgrade one low-rated stat and downgrade one high-rated stat to change how a player will feel in-game.
And in FIFA 23, this could prove effective, with the Rulebreakers promo potentially set to change players' AcceleRATE type, meaning explosive players could turn into the overpowered lengthy AcceleRATE type.

FIFA 23 Rulebreakers promo confirmed release date
The FIFA 23 Rulebreakers promo is confirmed to start on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 18:00 BST via the FUT 23 loading screen. The promo is expected to last two weeks, ending on Friday, October 28, 2022.
During these two weeks, two teams are expected to be released, along with two mini-releases and players released through Squad Building Challenges and Objectives. With the promo also set to last two weeks, we may see the first Token Swaps event of FUT 23.
30 60-rated special player items are currently listed in concept players on FUT 23, and we expect these to be used for a Swaps event. Swaps events offer players the chance to collect player tokens through SBCs, Objectives, the FUT Store and even just logging into FUT.
Players can then exchange these tokens for big rewards at a later date, but no Swaps event has been confirmed by EA.

Ahead of the official FIFA 23 Rulebreakers announcement from EA, prominent FIFA leaker @FUTSheriff has already 'leaked' the entire Team 1 of the promo. These are the players set to feature in Rulebreakers Team 1 according to the leaks, with neither of these players - nor the promo - yet to be confirmed by EA.

The leaks announced by @FUTSheriff suggest Cristiano Ronaldo could be part of Team 1 of the promo. With Ronaldo's pace in FIFA 23 currently rated 81 out of 99, we predict the striker to receive a big pace upgrade along with a minor shooting downgrade.
