EA Sports' latest token system is set to launch in FIFA 22 on Friday, giving players the opportunity to earn special player items and other rewards.
The latest FIFA 22 Ultimate Team token event is reported to be named 'Summer Swaps' and is similar to token systems used in Icon Swaps, Winter Wildcards, Future Stars and Team of the Season promos. FIFA Ultimate Team players will be able to earn rewards for completing Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) and objectives in-game, with the likelihood of some tokens being included in the store to buy, as well as being gifted to players upon logging into Ultimate Team.

Summer Swaps, which will run alongside the FIFA 22 Shapeshifters promo, is set to be the biggest event in terms of token systems ever, with 50 tokens rumoured to be available for players to earn. Rewards are ranked meaning the top-tier rewards available will cost the most tokens, so it is up to the player to decide how to use their tokens to earn the best rewards for their club.
According to various social media accounts, including @FutSheriff, the next token system to come to FIFA 22 Ultimate Team will be named Summer Swaps, which will run alongside the Shapeshifters promo. The event is set to run from Friday, June 24, 2022 until Friday, July 23, 2022, with 50 tokens on offer!
The rewards could include two variations of a Presnel Kimpembe Shapeshifter special player item, Icon Moments Peter Schmeichel, Icon Moments Cafu, Prime Icon Ronaldinho and Icon Moments Zinedine Zidane. Other rewards that could feature include a 93+ Shapeshifters player pick pack, a 94+ Icon Moments player pick pack and 85+ x20 pack.

- 5 Tokens - 20x 85+ Rated Players Pack
- 7 Tokens - Shapeshifters Player Pick (1 of 3)
- 9 Tokens - 91+ EFIGS TOTS Player Pick (1 of 4)
- 10 Tokens - Shapeshifters Kimpembe (92 OVR)
- 15 Tokens - 93+ Shapeshifters Player Pick (1 of 5)
- 17 Tokens - 95+ EFIGS TOTS Player Pick (1 of 3)
- 20 Tokens - Icon Moments Cafu
- 23 Tokens - 95+ Shapeshifters Player Pick (1 of 5)
- 25 Tokens - 92+ Icon Moments Player Pick (1 of 3)
