Fans will soon see the FIFA 22 Premier League TOTS released into FIFA Ultimate Team, with players from Liverpool and Manchester City expected to dominate the XI.
The FIFA 22 TOTS event is one of the most anticipated releases in the FUT calendar, and the first TOTS is expected to enter Ultimate Team at the end of April with the Community TOTS, with the voting already underway for that TOTS squad. The FUT Team of the Season Promo rewards the best performing players from the domestic campaign with heavily boosted TOTS player items in FUT 22, and after a fantastic Premier League campaign so far, we could see one of the best Premier League TOTS in a long time.

Whilst Manchester City and Liverpool battle it out for the league title, there's been a fantastic top-four battle between Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham United and Manchester United, with some of the league's biggest stars finding their best form.
So, which players could make the FIFA 22 Premier League TOTS squad? What sort of content is expected, and when is it going to be released? Here are Mirror Football's FIFA 22 Premier League predictions, with predictions from Nathan Bliss, Lewis Barton and Sam Hill.

My TOTS consists of nine players from Liverpool and Manchester City, with the league's front runners producing some of the best performing players of the season. Defensively, Liverpool and Man City have been the two best sides all season, though it was a tough call between Ruben Dias and Thiago Silva for the centre back spot.
Alisson has been one of the best goalkeepers in the world this season, and despite the Reds' dominance, the Brazilian has saved them on a couple of occasions. Trent Alexander-Arnold has been fantastic once again along with teammate Virgil van Dijk as they both make my TOTS, whilst Joao Cancelo is my left-back, with the Portuguese international proving himself as one of the world's best in his new position.
Man City duo Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva both make my midfield three, joined by West Ham's Declan Rice. The English international has taken a big stride in becoming one of the best midfielders in the league this season, and his leadership in that holding role has played a pivotal part in West Ham challenging for a European spot this season.
Mohamed Salah's inclusion was self-explanatory, with the winger having what could be his best ever season for Liverpool. I've also gone for Diogo Jota in the striker position, with the Portugal international's big-game temperament and goal scoring record this season making him one of the best strikers in the league this season.
Lastly, I've chosen Heung-Min Son on the left. After a relatively quiet first half of the season, Son has become explosive under Antonio Conte and had one of his best-ever seasons.

My TOTS features five Liverpool players, two Manchester City players and a handful of standout players for the likes of Tottenham, Chelsea, Wolves and Crystal Palace. In defence, Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk have been incredible throughout the 2021/22 campaign, whilst Joao Cancelo has been a revelation for City at left-back.
Thiago Silva just edges out Ruben Dias, Joel Matip and Antonio Rudiger for me. The Brazilian has been crucial for Chelsea all season and, despite being 37, continues to show his quality and contribute heavily to Chelsea's performances under Thomas Tuchel.
Jose Sa has been one of the signings of the season and has had an impressive season at Wolves. Whilst I could have gone for Liverpool's Alisson or City's Ederson, Sa has been a key player in Wolves' fight for European football qualification and I believe he is deserving of being in the FIFA 22 Premier League Team of the Season.
My third pick from Liverpool is Fabinho in midfield with the Brazilian being a consistently key performer for the Reds, showing why he should be considered the best defensive midfielder in Europe on current form. Alongside Fabinho, I have opted for Conor Gallagher who has had a breakout season on loan at Crystal Palace and will surely become a regular starter for Chelsea next season, with Kevin De Bruyne who speaks for himself as one of the best midfielders in the world and will go down as a Premier League great.
Mohamed Salah's inclusion needs no explanation with the winger having what could be his best ever season for Liverpool and should the Reds end the season with a haul of trophies, the Egyptian could be in contention for the Ballon d'Or this year. I've also gone for Diogo Jota in the striker position as my fifth Liverpool pick, with the Portugal international's performances in the big games firing Liverpool back into the title race and proving to be one of the best pieces of business the Merseyside club have completed in recent years.
Lastly, I've chosen Heung-Min Son on the left. It was a toss-up between Son and Harry Kane for the final spot in my attack but after a poor first half of the season by the South Korean's standards, Son has evolved into a dangerous and clinical forward under Antonio Conte.

Due to their far superior defensive records, it will come as no surprise that players from Liverpool and Manchester City dominate the back five, with Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ruben Dias, Virgil van Dijk and Joao Cancelo all featuring in goal and defence. In midfield, two other City stars feature, with Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva featuring.
If Thiago would have been more consistent throughout the season, he would have made it due to his superior quality, but instead, I've opted for West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice at the base of midfield, who has had an outstanding campaign.
In attack, Liverpool dominates with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane both featuring. Despite players like Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez having great seasons, I've opted for Heung-Min Son of Tottenham instead, who is outscoring Harry Kane.
FIFA 22 Premier League TOTS confirmed release date
The FIFA 22 TOTS promo event will start with the Community TOTS on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 18:00 PM BST, with the Premier League TOTS confirmed to arrive in the following week on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 18:00 PM BST.
Each TOTS squad release lasts a week, meaning the Premier League TOTS will end on Friday, May 13, 2022 , but some of the best players could return at a later date in the Ultimate TOTS squad. Along with the main squad release, a selection of themed Squad Building Challenges and objectives will be released, with more players available to earn.
