Strikerz Inc has released the first gameplay trailer for their upcoming online football videogame UFL, a potential competitor to EA Sports' FIFA 22.
UFL, which will hope to compete with FIFA 22 and Konami's eFootball, will use Epic Games' Unreal Engine, with Strikerz Inc claiming that the game will be developed by using state-of-the-art services and technology stack, in what will be a game that is 'made by fans'. Strikerz Inc describes itself as a videogame-creating collective and an international gaming brand, who have over 200 staff across five countries including Cyprus, Belarus, Ukraine, and Lithuania.
The game was first announced back in August 2021, when the company released an announcement video on their YouTube channel, but on Thursday, January 28, 2022, fans were given their first look at UFL gameplay, with Strikerz Inc CEO Eugene Nashilov talking through various aspects of the new game.

The gameplay reveal video also revealed that various high-profile clubs have partnered with UFL ahead of its release, including Hashtag United, West Ham United, Shakhtar Donetsk, Borussia M.Gladbach, AS Monaco, Besiktas, Celtic and Rangers
But arguably the biggest announcement of all came towards the end of the video, when it was revealed that Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo, along with Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino, Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku and others will be official UFL ambassadors, with these players featuring heavily in the reveal trailer.
"I am happy to announce my partnership with UFL," Said Cristiano Ronaldo.
"This is a revolutionary project in football gaming.
"UFL brings a competitive and fair to play experience for every gamer."
Some gameplay examples were then shown in the gameplay reveal video, which you can check out here, with the video confirming a release date of 'when it's ready' in 2022. UFL will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.
Strikerz Inc CEO Eugene Nashilov confirmed that UFL is in the final stages of development, and that is expected to release in 2022.
