On Monday, Ukraine marks 35 years since restoring its independence. For nearly a third of this time, we have been fighting to defend our state and our right to exist as a sovereign nation in the face of Russia's armed aggression. Yet Ukraine continues to resist and develop, strengthen its international partnerships and work towards a just and lasting peace.
