Ferrari’s first EV sells for record $40 million at auction

A bespoke Ferrari Luce, the luxury carmaker’s first EV, has fetched $40 million (€34.5 million) at a charity auction held by RM Sotheby’s in the US.

The sale set a record for the highest price paid for a new car at auction and far exceeded RM Sotheby’s pre-sale estimate of more than $1.1 million (€950,000).
