Ferne McCann allegedly called her best friend Sam Faiers a "narcissistic b****" as a new audio recording has been leaked online.
This comes after the former TOWIE star made headlines after another WhatsApp audio recording was leaked, where she body shamed her pal. The voice note, which was reportedly sent by the star to another friend in June, heard Ferne talk about Sam: "Her thighs are so big and I looked really skinny today."
This was just one month after Sam, 31, had given birth to her third child, Edward. Now, an Instagram account has leaked the second recording out of a reported 39 audio recordings, reports the Mirror.
The user claims Ferne says about Sam in the shocking new voice note: "She's just a narcissistic b***h, she just won't care..."
The voice not then cut to a different one, which said: "It's an exact copy. It's just so s**t on people who have worked hard because she's got a big following, it's just ridiculous. It's out of order."
The Instagram account wrote: "@FerneMcCann what a jealous bitter woman talking about your so called best friend @Samantha Faiers who you have known for 20 years. As a friend you should be supporting your friends not running to other friends and slating them."
Today's earlier message has left mother-of-three Sam devastated and her once strong friendship with best pal Ferne in tatters. The reality star has unfollowed and reportedly blocked her friend of 20 years on social media.
A source told The Mirror: “Naturally Sam is incredibly hurt and upset by these comments, especially from someone she considered to be a good friend. She’s at a loss as to why Ferne has decided to speak out about her in such a derogatory way,” the pal added.
Meanwhile Sam's mum Suzie Wells leapt to her daughter's defence. Suzie, 53, took to Instagram to say the nasty message was a "complete shock" to the family, as Ferne had been a "very close friend to us all".
She wrote: "So after a few days of hurt and upset I can no longer sit back and say nothing. This vile voice note has been circulating social media, and now Press articles calling it a 'Fued' [sic] which it is not. This has come as a complete shock to myself and my family.
"Ferne has always been a very close family friend to all of us for over the past 20 years. It appears this voice note was sent just weeks after Samantha gave birth back in May. Since this voice note has surfaced more have been sent - very upsetting nasty things. We are as shocked as you are! Nobody should ever speak about their friends like this ever!
"My girls are my absolute everything and I'll do anything to protect them. I don't have anything to say on the matter."
It is not known what triggered the voice note or to who Ferne is said to have originally sent it. Following the claims, an unknown Instagram took to their Instagram Stories to announce the release of further voice notes.
Using white text over a black background, they wrote: "Tune in at 7 pm. This will be the 2nd voicenote out of 39 disgusting voicenotes." The 'second voicenote' was recently released, with the person (who they allege to be Ferne) saying: "She's just a narcissistic b***h, she just won't care..."
The voice not then cut to a different one, which said: "It's an exact copy. It's just so s**t on people who have worked hard because she's got a big following, it's just ridiculous. It's out of order."
The caption read: " @fernemccan what a jealous bitter woman talking about your so called best friend @samanthafaiers who you have known for 20 years as a friend you should be supporting your friends not running to other friends and slating them. @gillymccann you should be ashamed of your daughters behaviour."
Sam and Ferne had a rocky relationship over the years, with the pair once famously clashing over their rival TV shows. However, things seemed to be great between the stars in recent months - with Ferne even appearing on Sam's podcast to chat about life as a mum back in May.
