Fernando Torres has been tipped to have a successful career in football management by ex-Barcelona defender Rafael Marquez.
One-time Kop hero Torres is currently in charge of the Under-19s at his boyhood club Atletico Madrid while Mexican Marquez is the boss of Barca's B team, Barcelona Athletic. The pair recently attended a coaching course together and Marquez was left suitably impressed by both Torres and another ex-Liverpool star, Alvaro Arbeloa.
Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, Marquez said: "Fernando Torres has great abilities. Equally, Alvaro Arbeloa. You could already see they stood out during the course."

Torres joined Rafa Benitez' Reds back in 2007 and quickly became a fans' favourite, scoring 81 goals in 142 appearances before joining Chelsea in a stunning £50million transfer in January 2011 on deadline day.
The 38-year-old has been praised for his management qualities before. Speaking to AS back in March (as per The Mail), former Atletico coach Armando de la Morena said: "A coach like Fernando, knowing his career a bit, as a player and always with the respect that he has acted, has the conditions to be a great coach.
"I know it from the players too, who tell me wonders about him, how he transmits, how he gives them the concepts. So what I see in him is that if everything is going the right way, then we have a future coach for Spanish football and for Atletico and hopefully for the national team as well. Whatever he wants.
"He spoke very well to you even when he was still a kid, 17, 18 years old. He is always respectable both on and off the field, for his manners and behaviour. After all, a coach has to be that. An example both outside and inside the field. And he meets those conditions."
Torres' ex-Liverpool team-mate Arbeloa is also an U19s manager, but with city rivals Real Madrid. The Spaniard played for Liverpool from 2006-2009.
