As Formula 1 prepares for the final race of the 2025 season, the drivers have exchanged gifts for Secret Santa ahead of the Christmas break.
Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso, who is the oldest driver on the grid at 44 years old, was pictured and filmed unwrapping a walking stick. It comes as no surprise that the moment quickly gained traction on social media, with fans commenting on the funny exchange.
"I read somewhere that apparently Hulk was his Secret Santa. Top-tier sh**housery," one fan commented on Reddit, while another added: "That cane is likely hundreds of dollars and that's what is cracking me up right now."
When Nico Hulkenberg was pinpointed as the giver of the cane, many were able to see the lighter side of the gift. "That makes it less mean and more hilarious," another fan wrote, while another responded: "Yeah, if it was from a rookie it would have been super disrespectful."
Another fan took the opportunity to take a jab at Aston Martin. "What a thoughtful gift. That back must hurt from carrying Aston Martin for the past three years," they wrote.
The Silverstone outfit is currently in the fight for sixth in the constructors' championship. It sits seventh with 80 points ahead of the season finale in Abu Dhabi. Racing Bulls sits sixth with 92 points.

Alonso is 12th in the drivers' standings with 48 points, while his team-mate Lance Stroll is 17th with 32 points.
"As expected, I think," Alonso told the media after the first two practice sessions in Abu Dhabi. "Tricky circuit always to balance the car, very different corner speeds in the first sector and in the last sector.
"The hotel section is always very slow and difficult to negotiate, but yeah, I think as expected. And let's try to find more, especially front grip for tomorrow, and try to be more competitive."
