Fern Britton finally put an end to her feud with Phillip Schofield this week as she gushed about him on television.
As part of Phillip's 40th work anniversary celebrations, ITV bosses asked Fern to take part in congratulating the father-of-two and it seems she happily obliged.
In what appeared to be a pre-recorded message, Fern told Phillip: "Fifty years is an incredible milestone and it's time for you to stop and look back and see all that you have achieved and be proud of it.
"So I'm wishing you a very happy future. Congratulations and keep going," she added with a smile on her face.
The clip no doubt came as a surprise to viewers as it is certainly no secret that Fern and Phillip famously fell out following her sudden exit from This Morning after hosting the show together for seven years.
It came as a shock as Fern was only halfway through her £1.5 million contract with ITV when she decided to hand her notice in in 2009.
At the time, her friends claimed she felt "undervalued by ITV" and that she was "living in Phil's shadow".
There were also claims that she had found out she was being paid £250,000 a year less than her co-host, and reports Phil was earning three times Fern's salary when the duo were presenting Mr and Mrs together.
It was claimed he picked up £45,000 an hour while Fern earned just £15,000.
However, Fern firmly denied that she made the decision to leave This Morning because of salaries.
When she announced she was leaving the ITV daytime show, Fern addressed the whole This Morning team and didn't mention her co-host specifically.
And when Phil was interviewed four years later he admitted that he and Fern no longer chatted.
Asked by Heat in 2013 if he still spoke to Fern, he replied: "No, not really.
"We were involved in the show and mates at the time, but we don't really. I see Phil [Fern's then-husband, chef Phil Vickery] when he's in This Morning... But we're not in touch now."
And in his autobiography, Life Is What You Make It, Phil addressed a blazing row he had with Fern which he believes was the final nail in the coffin.
Phillip said he and Fern argued in a make-up room in 2009 over the content of a show – and he was "stunned" when she accused him of "meddling."
Phil said: "I walked back into the makeup room and calmly said, 'Please don't do that to me again'.
"I think, for whatever reason, that was the point Fern decided she didn't want to do This Morning any more."
