Prince Andrew's ex-wife Sarah Ferguson has often commented on her special bond with the late Queen, branding her an incredible mother-in-law and friend.
And now, she has given her thoughts on what she thinks her ex brother-in-law Charles will be like as King as she also opened up on Queen Consort Camilla, writes The Mirror.
Despite their divorce, Fergie remained on good terms with her ex-husband Prince Andrew and has remained part of the royal fold in recent years.
Fergie recently took part in an interview to promote her brand new romance novel A Most Intriguing Lady, where she opened up about the new monarch and his wife.
She told OK! magazine she thinks Charles will continue to grow his late mother's legacy.
Fergie said "I have known both the King and the Queen Consort since I was a child.
"I think if you look at the King's track record in areas like the environment, where he was decades ahead of his time, and the Prince's Trust, it's clear what an extraordinary man he is and how fortunate we are to have him on the throne."
Meanwhile, she spoke fondly of Camilla and even praised the causes that she has championed.
She added: "I also admire the way the Queen Consort has worked tirelessly in areas like literacy and domestic violence."
The author, who now looks after the late Queen's remaining corgis Sandy and Muick, says she still misses her dearly.
She added: "Her Majesty was an incredible head of state, an incredible mother-in-law and an incredible friend.
"For me to be able to call her that was the greatest honour in my life. I used to have to pinch myself when I was sitting with her and asking her advice.
"Her door always remained open to me and we saw a lot of each other right up to the end, for which I will always be grateful. I miss her more than words can express."
Recently during an appearance on BBC's The One Show, Fergie shared the beautiful advice the late Queen gave to her.
She said: "I remember she used to say 'Sarah there needs to be more kindness in the world, which would disarm malice.
"And I feel it's really important we should all stop for a minute and remember those words with respect and affection for a great leader and now has passed it on to another great leader in her son."
