The Newcastle-born fashion store Fenwick has launched a huge sale to celebrate the start of summer. The retailer, which has a flagship store on Northumberland Street, is offering up to 50 per cent off designer womenswear, menswear and kidswear.
The premium department retailer has cut the price of hundreds of items including some beautiful dresses perfect for your next wedding invitation, awards night or even graduation, with some even reduced by as much as £1,000.
Brands included in the summer offer include the likes of Victoria Beckham, Ganni, Needle and Thread, Rixo and The Vampire’s Wife.

One of the cheapest dresses in the sale comes from DAY Birger et Mikkelsen, which is £126 down from £180. This slinky, midi-length jersey wrap dress features ruching at the sides, a wrap-effect front, and sleeves that can be worn on or off the shoulder, making it even more versatile.
However, if you’re after something shorter with a ‘cool girl’ vibe, Ganni is the brand for you, with the price being slashed from £195 to £136.50 on this Seersucker Check V-Neck Mini Dress.
Suitable for every day is the ba&sh Willow Dress, a denim midi not too dissimilar to styles we’ve seen Holly Willoughby wear in the past, though hers was from Albaray.
For those wondering what to wear for their upcoming special occasions, there’s the Self Portrait Pink Azaelea Lace Midi Dress for £210, down from £300, or if green is more your vibe the De La Vali Harmonica Midi Dress is now half price at £230.
Needle and Thread have also reduced some beautiful pieces, like the Sweetheart Lace Midaxi Dress for £259, which is delicately embroidered with a floral lace artwork. The piece is still full price on the Needle and Thread website, too.
Victoria Beckham is known not only for her time with the Spice Girls, but also for her elegant, sophisticated and modern fashion designs, with her Sleeveless Flared Dress down to £413 instead of £590 in the Fenwick sale.
But the real showstopper has to be this glitzy piece from the celeb-loved The Vampire’s Wife, with the likes of Dakota Fanning and Alexa Chung favouring their red-carpet ready designs.
The Sky Rocket Dress In Bespoke Lame was originally an eye-watering £2,500, but has been reduced to £1,750. Most colours of this dress on The Vampire’s Wife site are still full price, however this pink floral style is now £1,795, meaning Fenwick is still cheapest with the sparkly gown.
Fenwick aren’t the only retailer with huge discounts at the moment though, with Selfridges also having launched a summer sale, including dresses from Whistles, Maje and Reiss, while Secret Sales have knocked thousands off dresses from Dolce and Gabanna.
