Nottingham Forest midfielder Orel Mangala has posted a message to fans ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Aston Villa.
The 25-year-old opened the scoring with his first goal for the Forest in the midweek clash at Leeds United on Tuesday. But Forest couldn’t hold onto the lead and eventually lost 2-1 to deepen their relegation fears.
Defeat at Elland Road meant only goal difference is keeping Steve Cooper ’s men outside the bottom three going into the weekend game at Villa Park. A win there could lift the Reds as high as 13th in the table, depending on other results, but with Leicester City and Bournemouth playing each other, anything other than three points could see Forest drop into the bottom three.

Ahead of the game, Mangala has posted a picture of his goal and celebration against Leeds on Instagram. Along with the images, he posted a caption that reads: “We must keep believing.”
That prompted a reply from midfielder Danilo, who wrote “Mangaaa, mangaaa.” Another Forest teammate in Felipe simply responded with: “Always”, along with two fist bump emojis.
Felipe has become a fan favourite since joining Forest from Atletico Madrid on January deadline day. The 33-year-old has started the last eight Premier League games, providing an assist in the 3-1 loss against Tottenham last month.
