FedEx Boeing 767 makes emergency landing after engine bursts into flames post-takeoff

A FedEx Boeing 767-300 cargo plane was forced to make an emergency landing after one of its engines burst into flames moments after take-off from Newark Liberty International Airport.

The aircraft had to return to the New Jersey airport after a bird struck its right engine, an airport representative confirmed. The plane was airborne for just nine minutes before making its emergency landing.
