NEW DELHI: The Federation Cup football tournament, considered India's premier cup competition, is set to make a comeback in the 2023-24 season after a six-year hiatus, as announced by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) on Monday.
In addition, the AIFF has decided to expand the I-League by welcoming five new teams. The inclusion of these teams aligns with the AIFF's vision of creating a stronger league and expanding the competition.
