Polls have opened across the country and Australians have only a few more hours to cast their votes and determine whether Scott Morrison and his Coalition or Anthony Albanese and Labor will lead the nation for the next three years.
Labor, which has spent almost a decade in opposition, arrives at election day feeling it has the best chance to form majority government.
