A deadly shooting that occurred at a rally for former President Trump is currently under investigation by the FBI as a potential act of terrorism. The FBI has confirmed that the shooter acted alone, using an AR style 5.56 rifle that was legally purchased and found at the scene.
Special Agent in Charge, Kevin Rojek, stated that the FBI is working to determine the motive behind the shooting and whether the shooter had any associates involved. While the investigation is leaning towards the incident being an assassination attempt, it is also being considered as a potential domestic terrorism act.
