Father's remorse as inquest for boy in state care ends

The heartbroken father of an Indigenous boy who died in state care has lamented his failings as a parent at an inquest into his son's death.

The 10-year-old, who can only be identified as SJ, was found unresponsive entangled in a blind cord and died at his carer's home in April last year.
