The father of the Michigan school shooter, James Crumbly, is currently in court facing accusations from prosecutors that he neglected to take actions that could have potentially prevented the tragic deaths of four students. The ongoing court proceedings have shed light on crucial testimonies and evidence that are shaping the case.
One significant testimony came from Sean Hopkins, a counselor at Oxford High School who was responsible for the well-being of students, including Ethan Crumbly, the shooter. Hopkins revealed that as early as May 2021, months before the shooting, he received an email from an English teacher expressing concerns about Ethan's failing grades and sleeping in class. Although Hopkins couldn't recall the specific email or meeting with Ethan, he believed he had followed up on the teacher's request.
