The father of the 15-year-old Madison, Wisconsin, school shooter recently posted a photo on Facebook showing his daughter at a shooting range in August. The cover photo displayed Natalie Rupnow, also known as Samantha, engaging in skeet shooting while wearing a black shirt featuring the band KMFDM. Notably, KMFDM's lyrics were referenced by the perpetrators of the tragic 1999 Columbine High School massacre in Colorado, where 13 individuals lost their lives.
KMFDM, a German industrial rock band, promptly denounced the 1999 attack and expressed solidarity with the victims, emphasizing that their music was created to oppose violence, as reported by Reuters.
In response to a query about the individual in the photo, Jeff Rupnow confirmed that it was indeed his child, expressing enthusiasm for their participation in the North Bristol Sportsman’s Club (NBSC) since spring. The NBSC is a shooting range located in Dane County, and efforts have been made to obtain a statement from them regarding the matter.
Tragically, law enforcement officials identified Natalie as the perpetrator responsible for the recent shooting incident at Abundant Life Christian School, resulting in the loss of two lives.
