On Friday morning, a devastating incident occurred inside a home in Charlotte, North Carolina, resulting in a fatality as a result of the strong winds brought by Tropical Storm Helene. The city's fire department reported that a tree was pushed onto the home, leading to the tragic death.

The Charlotte Fire Department took to Facebook to confirm that while the individual who lost their life was inside the home, the minor children present were fortunately unharmed. Additionally, another adult who was trapped alongside the deceased individual was successfully rescued. However, the fire department did not immediately disclose the condition of the rescued adult.

Tragically, a 4-year-old child lost their life in Catawba County, North Carolina, on Thursday due to a head-on collision on rain-slicked roads caused by the outer bands of Tropical Storm Helene. This heartbreaking incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers posed by severe weather conditions and the importance of staying vigilant and taking necessary precautions during such events.
