Recently released body camera footage reveals the tragic events leading to the fatal police shooting of 25-year-old Victoria Lee in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The incident occurred last month when Lee's brother called 911 seeking medical assistance during her mental health crisis.
Upon arrival, at least five Fort Lee police officers responded to the family's apartment. Despite efforts to communicate Lee's nonviolent nature, an officer forcefully entered the apartment and fatally shot her within seconds of breaching the door.
