Fashion Sakala riffs on Celtic pain as Rangers hero claims rivals 'need an ambulance'

Rangers striker Fashion Sakala has claimed Celtic stars needed an ambulance in the immediate aftermath of the dramatic winner at Hampden.

The Zambia international was involved in the dramatic ending as he put the pressure on Carl Starfelt – only for the Swede to turn the ball into his own net.

Sakala shared an image amid the melee in the aftermath of the goal that sees him wheel away in delight with a telling caption.

The Rangers forward posted on Instagram: "Pic of the day. I'm still standing while others need an ambulance."

It shows Starfelt, Stephen Welsh and Joe Hart crestfallen as the deflected effort ended up in the back of the net.

The forward made an impact from the bench as his pace pushed the wearied Celtic defence back during extra time.

The 25-year-old has impressed at times during his debut season in Glasgow and netted a hat-trick against Motherwell in one of Steven Gerrard's final match in charge.

He toiled leading the line against Braga but has made more of an impact when coming off the bench in recent matches.

Sakala will be pushing for more chances to impress with Rangers still battling for trophies on three fronts.
