Many of those with an impressive collection of clothes may end up struggling a bit if they don't live in a mansion with two walk-in wardrobes.
For fashionistas living in smaller apartments, making the most of your space can take a bit of effort and imagination, and it isn't always possible to simply squeeze another cupboard in.
Luckily, you don't necessarily have to sell off half your prized shoe collection to fit in your home or go for "ugly" solutions, as travel, photography, and fashion blogger Amy Seder Burkley has perfectly demonstrated.
Amy has now recently shared her eight top tips for creating more wardrobe space in smaller flats, in a way that's "practical, affordable, functional, and still cute."

Savvy Amy, who goes by the TikTok username @amyseder, has lived in small apartments in both New York and LA, and has picked up a few hacks along the way when it comes to maximising space.
In a TikTok vid that has clocked up more than 69k views, Amy showed off her "hat wall", where she has hung her array of hats in a way that looks creative and eyecatching, rather than stuffing them in a drawer somewhere.
This display was assembled by using nails, twine, and clothes pins, and looks as pretty as it does practical.
In a similar vein, Amy has also a "sunglasses wall", which she has set up against the back of a door. This was made from acrylic nail polish holders purchased from Amazon, stacked on top of each other.
For her third tip, Amy advised: "If all else fails, just add an extra clothing rack. I tried to avoid this for so long, and couldn't anymore. I got this from Amazon, it was like $40 (£33.70)."
As noted by Amy, this particular rack has a "smaller profile" than the bulkier ones which had previously put her off, with an extension bar for longer items. It can also be easily rolled out of the way when she needs to access her wardrobe.
When it comes to shoes, Amy who has "officially ran out of shoe room" recommends shoe risers, and stacking pairs on top of each other. She bought the shoe risers from Ikea, and the racks from Amazon, and has managed to fit a fair few pairs in.
When hanging her clothes in the wardrobe, Amy opts for "slim, velvet hangers", and uses multi-clip hangers for her skirts and pants.
She added: "You can fit so much in only a foot or two. If you're not using this style of clip hangers, you're doing everything wrong."
Turning to the bathroom, Amy showed how she keeps her beauty products on a space-saving acrylic spinning shelf, which she describes as being "the best."
She has also encouraged followers to make use of the space under their beds, where she herself keeps five "huge" drawers containing items such as bikinis, t-shirts, and sweaters.
For her accessories, Amy uses a slim, tall chest of drawers which she bought from Ikea, filling this with jewellery, belts, and scarves.
However, she's also cleverly displayed some of her jewellery, simply by popping nails into her wall and hanging up a number of shiny gold necklaces.
One person wrote: "Hell, my master bedroom in my house is just small, this maximizes so much space! Thank you for the tips."
Another approved: "Exactly the video I needed to see right now, thanks for the tips!"
Although some people couldn't understand why she had so many clothes, telling her to read up on minimalism, Amy said this just wasn't her thing at all, explaining she needed such items for photoshoots.
She added: "Also, it’s my collection. Like people collect things for hobbies, mine is just *wearable art*".
