A group of teen farmers say they were stunned when McDonald's staff reportedly refused to serve them unless they took off their work boots - which they say were clean.
The farming students said they were hungry and looking forward to a burger and fries at the Crewe branch of McDonald's last Monday, when staff are said to have stopped them at the door.
They were "shocked" when an employee for the fast food chain - which prides itself on sourcing produce from British farms - reportedly told them they had to remove their boots before eating, Cheshire Live reports.
