Farewell Fiesta: Ford confirms end of popular supermini in 2023

Production of the Fiesta is ending in June 2023. (Ford)

Ford has confirmed that its iconic Fiesta model will be dropped next year after 46 years on sale.

Following speculation on Tuesday about the model’s demise, Ford has now come forward to confirm that the brand’s once best-selling supermini is being axed as the brand ‘accelerates’ its plans to become fully electric.
